Established in 1966, the Choir has enjoyed a long tradition of choral singing. Since 1988, it was one of the first few school choirs invited to be inducted into MOE’s Choral Excellence Programme where the girls have the opportunity of participating in the Singapore Youth Choral Festival held bi-annually. This programme allows the choirs from all over Singapore to interact and work together under the tutelage of well-known choir instructors.

The Choir aims to nurture its singers to be thinkers through the pursuit of musical excellence and exposure to international choral scenes. The programme also enables members of the choir to interact and work with other well-known choirs in Singapore as they learn and perform together.
